Specialized trades & service area
Coordinated, not overstated
Renovation projects often include scopes that legally require an appropriately licensed trade contractor. Brooks Building Solutions does not represent itself as performing those trades. Where a project calls for that work, it is coordinated with the appropriate licensed contractor so the overall renovation stays on one schedule with one point of contact.
We're a New Jersey contractor. Renovations run most often through Monmouth County and Ocean County — Freehold, Middletown, Howell, Marlboro, Toms River, Brick and Jackson among them — with coverage across Middlesex, Burlington and Atlantic Counties.
FAQ
Renovation questions we get
- How long does a full home renovation take?
- It depends on the size of the house and the depth of the scope. A single kitchen or bathroom is usually measured in weeks; a whole-home renovation runs longer and is scheduled in phases. You get a realistic timeline with the written scope, and we tell you as soon as anything changes it.
- Do you give written estimates?
- Yes. Every renovation gets a written scope and price before work starts, so you know what is and isn't included.
- Can I stay in the house during the renovation?
- Often yes, depending on the scope. We sequence the work and contain dust and debris so the parts of the house you're using stay usable. For whole-home gut work it's usually easier if the house is empty.
- Do you handle electrical, plumbing and HVAC?
- Renovations frequently include scopes that legally require an appropriately licensed trade contractor. We don't represent ourselves as performing those trades — we coordinate them with the appropriate licensed contractor so the project stays on one schedule with one point of contact.
- Do you remove the demolition debris?
- Yes. Tear-out and debris removal are part of the project, handled as the work progresses rather than piling up at the end.
- What parts of New Jersey do you renovate in?
- Renovation work is concentrated in Monmouth County and Ocean County, with coverage through Middlesex, Burlington and Atlantic Counties.
